Organic natural skincare is by far the best you can do for your skin. Many people have asked me what I use on my skin, and I thought it might be a good idea to write a post about my skincare routine.
First of all, I am against every synthetic product, which has many ingredients that have names you can’t pronounce. If I see any E number in the product, I am not using it. There are quite amazing organic cosmetics out there I really love, and I purchase regularly.
I will start with the oils I use for my skin; for cleansing, for nurturing, and for protection. They are oils I also use for my salads. So you know they are really healthy oils.
The Use of Natural Oils – Why not use them for the Skin?
I only use olive oil, organic, extra virgin olive oil to clean my skin already for years. I have a little bottle, which I keep clean and fill with my favorite olive oil. The whole year round, I use olive oil on my face and remove it with a facial cloth that I have put first in warm water. I wash my mascara from my eyes and the creams from my face. It makes my skin soft. Sometimes in summer, I use olive oil also after showering, but always a little bit. Otherwise, it is too oily on the skin, and your clothes will be stained.
You can use coconut oil as well. It is outstanding protection for the whole body if you use an organic one, which has a great smell. I use coconut oil also for cooking because you can heat it. Most vegetable oils are only to be used cold. They are forming poisoning particles while heating them at high temperatures. So you don’t want to consume them in your cooked meal.
Organic Natural Skincare – Oils for Skin Cleanse
Chemical deformed skincare and rich in damaging ingredients is very poisoning for your body. They will penetrate your skin, entering your blood and cells.
The skin is the largest organ of the body. It can weigh 8 pounds( 3,6 kg) and makes coverage of 22 square feet( 2 square meters) for an adult.
The main layers are the Epidermis, Dermis, and Subcutis. It belongs to the Integumentary system. The epidermis is the outer layer and contains cells that are nourished by diffusion from the dermis. It has no blood vessels and forms a waterproof, protective wrap as a barrier against infection. The outermost layer of the epidermis consists of 25 to 30 layers of dead cells. You can imagine if you wash your skin with acids and sharp chemicals, you are damaging the protective layers of the skin. If you eat healthily, you will not have bad skin and don’t need harsh chemicals.
Beneath the epidermis, there are blood capillaries, and these are connected to arterioles and venules. The layer beneath the epidermis is called the dermis, which contains the connective tissue and protects the body from stress and strain. There are nerve endings and hair follicles, and different glands and vessels.
The subcutaneous tissue, called subcutis, lies below the cutis’ dermis and is not part of the skin. The subcutis connects the skin to the underlying bone and muscles and supply blood vessels and nerves. The connective tissue is loose, adipose tissue, and elastin. Subcutaneous tissue contains 50 % of body fat for insulation.
So if you use synthetic skincare, you can imagine how you will damage the outer layer so much that it is easy for the chemical ingredients of a cream or lotion to infiltrate your body and get into your organs, including the brain.
Maybe you will now stop smearing all that stuff and get yourself organic natural skincare that really supports your skin.
When I do a scrub under the shower, I use olive oil or coconut oil with sugar to cleanse my body. It works fantastic. To get rid of the oil, I use an organic shower gel to wash it off. My skin is so silky then, and it also helps with dry skin.
Natural Oils for your Body
After I have cleansed my face, I use oils from a brand called Khadi. I have studied so many different products, and for me, the best facial oils are the oils from Khadi. They don’t cost very much, and it is easy to order them via Amazon. I love rose oil because of the smell and how my skin reacts. But there is an oil for every taste and need. And they are 100 % organic and natural. That is the most important reason for skincare.
After I have applied the oil, I use a cream on top of the oil. These are products from CMD, a german cosmetic company. They only use exclusive, high-quality natural raw materials. No animal testing is allowed. That is so important to me! You could use other products of this brand as well because they are really an honest company.
I use the Sandorini or Rose Line. In summer and the warmer season, I apply moisturizing cream on top of the oil. In winter, I put the face cream with a thicker consistency on top of the oil to protect my face from drying out.
Then I apply organic light makeup. That is it! And I have silky, protected skin.
The body creams are different. I use olive oil or coconut oil very often in summer, and especially for my feet. I have dry feet, and they make them beautiful.
In winter, I love to use a company which is called “Styx” They have great body creams, all organic and natural. The smell is so amazing. Maybe you would love to try them. You will never want to change products again. 🙂
Disinfecting oils – Try these.
If you have eczema or acne, you better don’t use harsh medication and creams. You can get rid of these very good by using special oils. For example, Castor oil is perfect for cleansing and calming your skin.
You put the oil, it is a thick consistency oil, on your face, leave it for some minutes, and take a facial cloth with warm water and cleanse your face. If you do it every day, your skin will look more calm and silky. The oil brings dirt to the surface. If you have acne, you better also change your diet. The reason is your imbalanced hormones, which are normal when you reach adolescence.
But many women have acne when they come into menopause, or if they get pregnant. Sometimes their skin looks amazing while pregnant and when the baby is born they suffer from acne. It has all to do with their hormones.
Another excellent disinfecting oil is Neem oil. The tree is called Azadirachta indica, an evergreen coming from the Indian subcontinent. The oil is pressed from the neem’s fruits and seeds and has antiseptic, antifungal, antipyretic, and antihistamine effects. Neem oil contains several sterols.
Sometimes I have eczema in my ears, and when I use the neem oil, it disappears. Better not to use any cortisone or other chemicals. Nature has so much to give. The healing is natural, and you are not burdening your immune system.
Skincare nowadays is so damaging to your skin and body in general. You better use organic natural skincare that is not poisoning your body and the environment. There are so many other solutions than applying synthetic products. You will keep your body clean, and you will protect the environment.
